The Shire and The Dales are the latest subdivisions at the extremely popular community of West Haven in Davenport.
I have stated this many times over the years but there are very few communities in this price range comparable to The Shire and The Dales.
The whole community of Westhaven has a high end feel with its Palm Tree lined Boulevards and as its only 2 minutes to Champions Gate there are a lot of amenities on your doorstep here.
The location is second to none and with the current expansion of Champions Gate and the extra facilities that this will bring to this area of Davenport, it can only be good news for owners at West Haven. You have easy access to I4, Disney and Highway 192 are only 10 minutes away and a number of Orlando's finest golf resorts are also located nearby.
There are still some lots available at the Shire and The Dales is still in its infancy to be fair although it is selling very well. A number of different models are available at both sub divisions from a 4 bed 1862 Sq. Ft single storey home all the way up to an 8 bed 4015 Sq. ft. double storey property.
Our own home is only 5 minutes from Westhaven so I am speaking from experience when I say there is a fair selection of American style restaurants such as Applebee's, Chilli's and the excellent Manny's Chop House on Highway 27; fine dining options are also available at Zen and Trevi's at the Omni Resort or Eleven and Forte at nearby Reunion.
The only thing I don’t like about Beazer the current builder is their list prices are misleading. They list the home as a base price which doesn’t include a pool and other extras you would require to rent the pool out so you need to add approximately $40k to their base prices. Don’t get me wrong the homes are still competitively priced I just find it quite misleading and it can cause confusion.
