Veranda Palms is the latest premier vacation gated community in the Disney area

Paul & Jill’s May 2011 Review
As most of you know we were in Orlando last month and obviously visited Veranda a couple of times while we were there. All of the homes in Dharma Circle are finished now and the site is really staring to take shape. We have just had 5 of our owners homes filmed as well as some footage around the development and you can really see how superior Veranda is compared to other developments in the area.
As we mentioned in our review last year everything is really green around Veranda Palms and even though more homes are completed now the rural feel still hasn’t altered. There has been some further landscaping and the new perimeter fence has now been installed since we have come back and Cindy informs me that this also looks great.
As I mentioned previously Park Square Homes have a really good reputation and the success of Veranda is no surprise to me at all.
Paul & Jill’s July 2010 Review
Whilst we have done a lot of sales at Veranda since the back end of last year this is the first time we have visited when a phase of the site is virtually complete. Obviously it gives a much different perspective to when we were last there as other than a couple of spec homes there was nothing to see except the dirt lots which had been marked out. Although you pretty much know what you are getting with a builder such as Park Square Homes it is still quite pleasant to see the finished article and phase 1 did not disappoint. For any of you who have looked at the site map phase 1 is the loop on the right hand side (Dharma Circle) just after the entrance. The most obvious observation that both Jill and myself made is how green everything is around Veranda which is due to the location being on the edge of the Shingle Creek Preserve. You really did feel that this was a development in the middle of a forest area even though you were only 2 minutes from Highway 192.
There is at least one type of each model built now so we did manage to walk through all of the different homes available. Most of our clients had opted for the 2 storey 5/6 bed Queen Palm model as the price with extras was only a little over $300k which for the largest home on the development is great value. I have to be honest though our own favourite was the single storey Beach Palm which is available from $260k and has a fantastic layout. We are probably a little biased as our own home is single storey but when the builder uses the full height of the home and builds into the loft areas to form a cathedral ceiling effect it really does create a feeling of space. The dressing area off the master bedroom also worked really well and the fact that you have a living area at each end of the home means owners / renters who come with large or more than one family need not be on top of each other all of the time. Again the 2 living areas is something that works well in our own home as it has been mentioned a lot in renter’s reviews over the last few years.
All in all the site is going to be every bit as high a standard as you would expect from Park Square and the location is great. The green / country feel is something quite unique and not something we have come across to often selling homes in this area over the last 10 years.
